Gameplay Enhancements

  1. Explosive Barrels: I've added some spice to the tutorial scene with explosive barrels. 
  2. Cover System: I've fine-tuned the cover dimensions for more covery... gameplay.

Technical Improvements

  1. Ultra Widescreen Support: I've improved support for ultra widescreen displays. Not perfect yet, but its a start.
  2. WebGL Optimization: I've enhanced WebGL support, addressing various exceptions for a smoother browser-based experience.
  3. Loading Screens: I've implemented loading screens to improve the transition between game states.

Bug Fixes

  1. Ladder Navigation: Fixed an issue where the ladder at the Tutorial Level end wasn't updating walkable nodes so it couldnt be climbed sometimes.
  2. Action Icons: Resolved a bug where action icons stayed active when the player changed.
  3. Camera Panning: Fixed a bug where the camera would act up when reaching level boundaries. It now stops smoothly at the edges.

Plus many, many, many smaller ones.

UI/UX Enhancements

  1. Streamlined Player Selection: I've skipped redundant Player Slot Selection for a quicker start. It's a prototype. So it should be quick.
  2. Level Selection: I've removed the complicated tutorial and replaced it with visual hints on the Level Selection Screen. It should be easier to understand now.
  3. Loading Screen: Loading Screens now feature an animation to progress the story

Next up, I'll be focusing on:

  • Mouse Support
  • New Enemy Types
    • "Summoner" - Revives and Summons ghosts
  • Level Design
    • Keeping it interesting. Trying out some tilemaps and visuals

Known Errors I couldn't fix yet

  • I have no idea why WEB on MacOS acts up like it does. Should be a shader problem.
